Reeves Journal asked Peterson Mechanical to comment on the Commercial and Industrial Mechanical Contracting business in the Bay Area and Northern California in October. As quoted, Les Peterson and company said,
“Condominium projects started picking up in 2011 and have shown steady gains since then. The Commercial project activity, on the other hand, is gaining momentum as well. We are still experiencing numerous requests for bids on commercial and corporate building renovations; a sign that commercial and corporate earnings have been strong. Hotel and casino projects have been been more active in Northern California; several major projects that were stagnant five years ago have reached ground-breaking stage this year. Educational building projects are now showing steady gains. Major universities are now re-visiting deferred capital spending plans thanks to several large bond measures that passed.”
